  • 200 gfresh chow mein egg noodles (7 oz)
  • 2 cupsbean sprouts
  • 40 gchives, cut into 4cm/2" lengths (1 oz)
  • 3 tbspoil
  • 2 dasheswhite pepper
  • 0.33 cupwater
  • Real Chinese All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce — Real Chinese All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce
  • toasted sesame seeds, for garnish
  1. 1Prepare noodles according to packet instructions.
  2. 2Heat oil in wok over high heat. Add the noodles and toss to heat through and coat with the oil — about 1 minute.
  3. 3Add the Sauce, pepper and water and cook for 30 seconds until Sauce starts to thicken.
  4. 4Add the bean sprouts and chives and stir fry to combine, about 30 seconds — they should remain crisp. Remove from heat, garnish with sesame seeds and serve immediately.

Notes

Requires Real Chinese All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce (recipe-017). A classic Cantonese noodle dish.
