  • 200 gfresh chow mein egg noodles (7 oz)
  • 2 cupsChinese cabbage, shredded
  • 1 cupcarrot, shredded
  • 100 gchicken (or beef or pork), sliced against the grain (4 oz)
  • 2shallot/scallion stems, cut into 2"/4cm slices
  • 3 clovesgarlic, minced
  • 1.5 tbspoil
  • 0.25 cupReal Chinese All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce — Real Chinese All Purpose Stir Fry Sauce
  • 0.5 cupwater
  1. 1Prepare noodles according to packet instructions.
  2. 2Heat oil in wok over high heat. Add garlic and sauté for 10 seconds, then add chicken and sauté until just cooked and nicely browned.
  3. 3Add the cabbage and carrot, stir fry for 30 seconds, then add the Sauce and water and let it cook for 30 seconds until the Sauce starts to thicken.
  4. 4Add the noodles and shallots and toss to coat with the sauce, then serve immediately.
