Asiago Peppercorn Ranch Dressing

  • 0.25 cupmayonnaise
  • 1 cupplain Greek yogurt
  • 1 teaspoonlemon juice
  • 0.5 teaspoononion powder
  • 1 teaspoonfresh coarse ground black pepper, to taste (1-2 tsp)
  • 1 teaspoonWorcestershire sauce, to taste (1-2 tsp)
  • 0.25 cupgrated asiago cheese (or Parmesan)
  • 0.25 cupmilk (or buttermilk or cream)
  • salt, to taste
  1. 1Whisk all ingredients together in a bowl until smooth and well combined.
  2. 2Season with salt and additional black pepper or Worcestershire to taste.
  3. 3Refrigerate until ready to serve. Thin with extra milk if a pourable dressing is preferred; keep thicker for use as a dip.

Notes

A lighter version of a parmesan peppercorn ranch recipe — based on another recipe and adjusted with Greek yogurt for daily use. Left thick it makes a great dip for fried zucchini. Adding extra lemon juice and tossing with chopped chicken makes a ranch-flavored chicken salad for pita pockets.
