  • 2 tbspinstant coffee (powder or granulated)
  • 2 tbspgranulated sugar (white or raw)
  • 2 tbspboiling water
  • milk, any kind (to fill glasses)
  1. 1Combine the coffee, sugar, and boiling water in a bowl. Stir with a spoon to combine.
  2. 2Beat with a whisk or hand mixer, scraping down the sides of the bowl occasionally, until foamy and thick.
  3. 3Fill a glass 3/4 of the way with milk and ice. Spoon the whipped coffee on top. Stir vigorously through the milk and enjoy.

] Whipped Coffee MANUAL WHISK: Takes 8–15 minutes depending on desired thickness. HAND BEATER: Takes about 3–5 minutes. Beat until stiff peaks form when lifting the beater or whisk. Thick whipped coffee tastes best and is less bitter; once mixed with milk it will dilute. You can add an extra tablespoon of sugar for a sweeter coffee — the general rule of thumb is a 1:1:1 ratio of coffee, sugar, and boiling water.
