5 Minute Chocolate Mug Cake

Ingredients

• 4 tbspall-purpose flour
• 4 tbspsugar
• 2 tbspunsweetened cocoa powder
• 1egg
• 3 tbspmilk
• 3 tbspoil
• 3 tbspchocolate chips (optional)
• 1 splashvanilla extract

Method

1. 1Add dry ingredients to a large coffee mug and mix well.
2. 2Add the egg and mix thoroughly.
3. 3Pour in the milk and oil and mix well.
4. 4Add the chocolate chips (if using) and vanilla extract and mix again.
5. 5Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
6. 6The cake will rise over the top of the mug — don't be alarmed! Allow to cool a little.
7. 7Can tip out onto a plate if desired. This can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous.
