Method
1Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C). Combine flour, baking powder, baking soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, ground cloves, and salt; set aside.
2In a medium bowl, cream together the butter and white sugar. Add pumpkin, egg, and 1 teaspoon vanilla to the butter mixture and beat until creamy. Mix in the dry ingredients. Drop on cookie sheet by tablespoonfuls; flatten slightly.
3Bake for 15 to 20 minutes. Cool cookies completely, then drizzle glaze with a fork.
4To make the glaze: Combine confectioners' sugar, milk, melted butter, and vanilla. Add milk as needed to achieve drizzling consistency.
