Sourdough Pizza Crust

  • 1.5 cupssourdough starter
  • 4 to 5 tbspolive oil
  • 1 tspsalt
  • 1.5 cupsflour, plus more as needed to adjust consistency
  1. 1Preheat oven to 500°F.
  2. 2Mix sourdough starter, salt, and flour together in a bowl until it forms a ball. Add more flour if needed to adjust consistency — if too dry, add more starter.
  3. 3Allow dough to rest for 30 minutes. Note: dough will not rise during this time.
  4. 4Roll out dough on parchment paper or a lightly floured surface.
  5. 5Par-bake the crust on a stone or baking sheet for 7 minutes.
  6. 6Brush the par-baked crust with olive oil.
  7. 7Add desired toppings and bake until browned and cheese is melted.
